Airport and Train Shuttles
Transportation Services provides transportation to the Richmond International Airport and Staples Mill Amtrak Train Station. Transportation to the Richmond International Airport will be $20.00 each way. There will be no charge for transportation to the Staples Mill Amtrak Train Station. All shuttles leaving from campus will depart at the Transportation Hub. Please have SpiderCard funds available at the time of sign-up. Refunds are available upon request and may only be issued up to 2 days before the date of departure.
Airport Information
- Transportation is to and from the Richmond International Airport.
- All airport shuttles departing from campus will be scheduled every other hour between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
- All airport shuttles returning to campus will be scheduled every other hour between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
- For returning flights, the shuttle will be located outside of baggage claim, in the outer row commercial vehicle/bus lane.
- Transportation fee is $20.00 for each transport.
- Refunds may only be issued up to 2 days before the date of departure.
- Please take note of possible shuttle delays caused by traffic or accidents. Transportation will not assume responsibility for any resulting time delays.
Train Information
- Transportation is to and from the Staples Mill Amtrak.
- All train shuttles will be schedule between the hours of 9:05 am and 9:05 pm.
- All train shuttles will depart campus at 5 minutes after the hour and arrive at the Staple Mill Amtrak at 40 minutes after the hour.
- Returning shuttles will leave the Amtrak station at 40 minutes after the hour between the hours of 9:40 a.m. and 9:40 p.m.
- For returning trains, the shuttle will be located outside of train station.
- There is no charge for transportation to the train station.
Spring Break
Friday, March 8, 2024 – Shuttle times between 10am and 6pm
Sunday, March 17, 2024 - Shuttle times between 12 noon and 8pm
Shuttle times bewteen 9:05 am and 9:05 pm
